MC, Clinton Community Gather to Celebrate Various Cultures
The Office of Global Education and International Students Association hosted Celebration of Culture.
The Office of Global Education and International Students Association invited students of varying countries and religions to share their favorite food, places, currency, and more from their home country with students, faculty, and the Clinton community on Monday, November 13, 2023.
MC students (Garret Harper and Carson Hughes) enjoyed some food from the Eastern Orthodox table.
The country of Ghana showed off its culture with their food and currency.
The Office of Global Education advertised upcoming classes and trips for the spring semester.
The Chinese offered one of the Chinese’s favorite foods for people in attendance.
The country of Brazil was one of many countries who showed off their country flag.
MC students and the Clinton community had the opportunity to view the Chinese language and practice writing the Chinese letters.
MC students (Camden Reed, Brinley Sullivan, and Maddie White) enjoyed different international foods from many countries such as Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.
Indonesia served different food with a rice tower, coins, currency, country’s animals, and clothing from their native land.
